Attend one of the two pub nights to pick up your online purchased tournament ticket package which includes your ticket, window sticker, fish draw tickets and tournament info sheet.  Your free tournament t-shirt, hat and rule booklet are also available for pick up here.  You also have the opportunity to purchase entries into the “Team Jackpots” and the “Accumulator Jackpot”.

If you cannot attend either of the pub nights you may send someone in your place to pick up for you and also enter any of the jackpots.  If that person will be entering you for any of the Team Jackpots please ensure they have all the names and tournament ticket numbers of your fishing teammates, as this is required.

Deadlines

Tournament T-Shirt & Buffet Deadline

Our t-shirt order will be placed on Monday July 16th so that they will be ready to give out at the 1st pub night being held on Thursday July 26th.   Anyone buying a tournament ticket after Sunday July 15th will not receive a free tournament t-shirt.    This also means you will not have a 2018 shirt during the awards banquet and will eliminate you from the hat and t-shirt draw prize.

The organizers have a deadline with our buffet caterers in which we must submit our final number of participants that will be provided with a free meal. This deadline is Sunday August 5th. Anyone purchasing tournament tickets after August 5th will be welcome to attend the awards banquet but will not have a meal allotted to them. Only those with their tournament ticket stamped to include the buffet will be entitled to the free banquet meal.

This policy is in place to avoid unnecessary extra costs and food wastage.

Awards Banquet

Our awards banquet will once again be held at the Songhees First Nation’s Wellness Centre located at 1100 Admirals Rd in Victoria.  This is a first class facility that those who attended our events in 2016 and 2017 were very impressed with the building and all the amenities.   The biggest improvement over previous venues has to be the quality of the room acoustics and the sound system.

We will once again be offering  a full roast beef buffet which will include potato and vegetable trays, salads, desserts and also coffee and tea.  The buffet meal is included in your tournament ticket fee.  An assortment of beer and wine will also be available for purchase and served during the banquet.   The doors will open at 3:00 pm and we expect to conclude before 6:30 pm.

We will be selling 50/50 and raffle tickets during the banquet.   Our raffle consists of 10 prizes up for grabs for a single purchase.  There are 2 ticket bundles offered at either $10.00 or $20.00 per bundle.   The $10.00 bundle includes 3 green tickets (for the 3 high value prizes offered) and 9 yellow tickets (for the 7 other great prizes).  The $20.00 bundle includes 9 green tickets and 27 yellow tickets.  The $20.00 bundle gives you 3 times the chances to win one of the prizes.

There will be a hat and t-shirt draw prize presented, you must be wearing your tournament hat and t-shirt to be eligible to win. 

We will be asking all participants if they intend to attend the awards banquet or not. This question will appear on your registration form in the tournament ticket package.  We need this information in a timely manner to ensure our caterer can prepare for the appropriate numbers.  More importantly that we do not get ourselves into a position of wasting food and important tournament proceeds needlessly.  If you indicate that you are unlikely to attend and then do attend at the last minute due to being a major winner you would still be eligible to attend the banquet.  In this instance however there would be no meal allotted to you.

Extra dinner tickets will once again be available if you wish to bring someone with you to the banquet who is not a ticket holder.  Cost is $25.00 per person and these tickets will be available at the pub registration nights. No extra banquet meal tickets will be available at the door.
